Globus Theatre’s Summer Performance Camp

Calling all creative kids! Registration is open for Globus Theatre’s Summer Performance Camp, which offers an unforgettable theatre experience! Aspiring young performers will dive into the creative and rehearsal process, honing their skills while preparing for the 6th Annual Downtown Detective Trail - a thrilling live performance and exciting, interactive addition to Bobcaygeon’s 150th anniversary celebrations

About the Camp

Once registered, campers will participate in a fun audition/interview, allowing our director to get to know their interests and talents. From there, we’ll craft the perfect role just for them! Auditions will be required prior to May 1st in order to help with casting.

Camp is half-day sessions for the whole week (12:30–4:00 PM) and offers an exciting chance to perform for both local audiences and visitors. With guidance from professional theatre artists, campers will gain experience in a dynamic and interactive performance setting—creating memories that will last a lifetime!

Week to Week Camp Breakdown

Our Summer Performance Camp will be happening July 20–24 and July 27–31 (12:30 to 4pm); all campers will attend both weeks.

First Act:
Bursary & Scholarship Program

Bursaries & Scholarships are available through Globus Theatre’s First Act program to ensure that all youth and children have the opportunity to participate in creative programming. Breaking financial barriers so that all children have access to the Arts is important to us!

Bursaries cover tuition costs for any families with lower incomes. Funding may cover full or partial tuition depending on the amount of applications we receive per term.

Our Scholarships are financial incentives to select individuals who show an exceptional passion or talent in the performing arts.
