Trained at the University of Wales,
Sarah obtained a BA (Hons) degree in Drama along with certificates
in acting from the London College of Music and The Guildhall.
Sarah’s theatre credits include; ‘Family Affairs’ at the Tampa Bay
Performing Arts Centre; ‘Our Daily Bread’ UK tour; ‘Sex and Death’
at the Edinburgh Fringe; ‘Translations’ UK tour and ‘Her Big Chance’
Irish Tour. She played the part of Fionuula Crust in the world
premier of John B. Keane's 'Letters of a Matchmaker' in his home
town of Listowel, Ireland.
In 1999 she formed Quick Change Theatre and toured throughout
Canada, Ireland, England, the U.S. and Australia with her
self-penned works ‘Thanks for the Mammaries’, ‘Sex and Sensibility’,
‘The Men Commandments’, ‘Do You Take This Man?’ and ‘B4 & After’.
Within Canada she toured to Montral, Toronto, Winnipeg, Saskatoon,
Edmonton, Calgary, Victoria, Vancouver & Cowichan. She has performed
at the Factory Theatre in Toronto, The Manitoba Theatre Centre in
Winnipeg and The Waterfront Theatre in Vancouver.
‘Do You Take This Man?’ was CBC’s Pick of the Edmonton Fringe in
2002 and received an ‘outstanding Drama’ award at the Melbourne
International Fringe the same year.
In the previous years with Globus Sarah has performed in 'Blithe
Spirit', 'Do You Take This Man?', 'Fanny Hill', 'Home To Roost',
'April in Paris' and 'B4 & After', ‘Soccer Moms’, ‘The Motor Trade’
'Educating Rita', 'Talking Heads', and 'Knickers! A brief comedy',
which she also wrote. She has directed 'The Foursome', 'Here on the
Flight Path' ,‘Marion Bridge', ‘The Motor Trade’ and 'Art'.
